Make your reservations, break out the old baseball mitt and get ready, because for the second consecutive year, the UWM baseball team will help the Milwaukee Brewers begin their exhibition schedule with a game Wednesday, March 2, at 2:05 p.m. CST at Maryvale Baseball Park in Phoenix.
When the teams played last season, it marked the first time the Brewers faced a collegiate team in an exhibition game since 1983 when they played Arizona State University.
Although the Brewers won 8-0 in 2015, the exhibition was a great day for all involved. Neither team had a hit through the first three innings, and Milwaukee senior Joe Pavlovich struck out Adam Lind, Khris Davis and Gerardo Parra in the second inning.
