Long-time UWM faculty member Ronald Perez was named interim dean in October of the Joseph J. Zilber School of Public Health.

An associate professor in the College of Engineering & Applied Science’s department of mechanical engineering, Perez has been a faculty member at UWM since 1990. He has 13 years of administrative experience, including serving as interim dean and associate dean, Academic and Administrative Affairs of the College of Engineering & Applied Science.

Prior to this appointment, Perez was the interim associate dean of Academic and Student Affairs at the Zilber School of Public Health.
