PantherJOBS, UWM’s online job tool, has changed vendors to a new, profile-oriented platform that makes recruiting easier for on- and off-campus employers, and makes job searching more interesting for students and alumni.

Handshake’s platform allows for students and alumni to create profiles that will grab employers’ attention quickly, and allow employers to post jobs with ease.

The platform went live to students June 19, and to employers May 30. In order to ensure on-campus job postings by the beginning of new student orientation season, the Career Planning & Resource Center has been providing training for on-campus employers since June 5.
