Mobilizing the Past for a Digital Future: The Potential of Digital Archaeology

A book coverErin Walcek Averett, Jody Michael Gordon, Derek B. Counts, editors. The Digital Press at the University of North Dakota, 2016.

Archaeology may study the past, but it has adopted the tools of the digital age. This open-access, digitally published volume grew from a conference that convened many of the country’s leading practitioners of digital archaeology. Several of them contributed to the book. Counts, a UWM professor of Mediterranean art and archaeology, edited the book along with Creighton University’s Averett and Gordon from the Wentworth Institute of Technology.
