Veterans honored with week of activities at UWM
Supporting more veterans than any other school in the six-state region, UWM thanks all student veterans for their service.
Events on and off campus honored veterans and military service members in the week leading up to Veterans Day.
Among those veterans is Kevin Evans, a once-homeless Army veteran who turned his life around and undertook a journey that led him to earning a master’s degree in social work from UWM. Now, he helps veterans who are having the same troubles that he had.
