UW-Milwaukee has been identified as having one of the best values in Bachelor of Actuarial Science degree programs in a recent ranking by Online Accounting Degree Programs.

The website said it examined all of the Bachelor of Actuarial Science programs in the United States and then ranked them based on graduation rate, quality of curriculum, student appeal, net price, and having been named a Center for Actuarial Excellence.

The editors noted that one advantage of the CAE-­approved actuarial science degree at UWM is the school’s relationship with local employers; UWM has a half-dozen designated liaisons at major insurance providers such as Allstate, Humana and Northwestern Mutual.
