More than 600 UW-Milwaukee students participated over the weekend in the Milwaukee Make a Difference Day.
Volunteers cleaned up city neighborhoods and helped with the basic winterization of older adults’ homes, raking leaves, clearing garden beds, washing windows and picking up trash. Each year of the event, UWM helps at more homes than any other group.
