Hundreds of students, journalists, faculty and staff gathered Feb. 11 in the UWM Student Union to watch the Democratic primary debate being broadcast from across the street, as Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders faced off at the Helene Zelazo Center for the Performing Arts. Some students watched the debate in the Union Theater and Wisconsin Room, while others joined protests in the Union concourse and on Kenwood Avenue.
