The UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena rang with sounds of joy Sunday, Dec. 17, as more than 2,100 UWM students celebrated their graduation.
The university awarded 1,425 bachelor’s degrees, 575 master’s degrees, 127 doctoral degrees and 28 flexible option degrees to students ranging from 20 to 68 years old.
Ricardo Diaz, executive director of the United Community Center, gave the commencement address. Regent Tracey Klein provided a greeting from the UW System Board of Regents.
