The Democratic primary debate between presidential contenders Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders is giving UWM students an up-close look at politics and a chance to hone and demonstrate their skills before a national audience.
Dozens of journalism students are covering the debate that will be broadcast on PBS and CNN at 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, from UWM’s Helene Zelazo Center for the Performing Arts. Opera student Kathryn Henry will perform the national anthem.
