Brown Bag lunch series focuses on personal, professional growth

The UWM Human Resources Department is offering four programs on developing and improving professional and personal skills during the spring semester. The Brown Bag lunch series presentations are offered in conjunction with employee assistance provider LifeMatters.

The first presentation, “Dealing with Difficult Personalities,” will be Thursday, March 2, and will present strategies for working with people who have different attitudes, habits and personalities.

The second presentation, “Personal Resilience,” will focus on self-disciplined stress and energy management, and will be held Tuesday, March 28.

“Communication Skills in the Workplace,” set for Tuesday, April 18, and will focus on interpersonal and assertive communication.

“Getting the Most Out of Your Life,” on Monday, May 8, will emphasize simple, meaningful activities instead of a hectically paced life.
