The ARC Excellence Award will recognize UWM faculty and staff who have demonstrated excellent services to students with disabilities.

The ARC Excellence Awards began in 1998 as the “Above and Beyond Award” in order to recognize faculty and instructional staff who provided exemplary services and accommodations to students with disabilities. Over the years, the award expanded to include non-instructional UWM staff members in departments such as Information Technology and the Library, acknowledging that staff across campus can have a significant impact on the services and access provided to students with disabilities.

On Friday May 12, at 2:30 p.m. in the Union room 340, the Accessibility Resource Center will host a ceremony that will recognize five UWM faculty and staff who have demonstrated excellent services to students with disabilities, ARC staff and other ARC constituents, such as parents, teachers and advocates. Please join us in celebration and recognition of this outstanding service.
