With an expansive view overlooking Lake Michigan, the beautiful Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum will be the site of the Friday evening cocktail dinner.

Designed and built in 1923 in the style of a 16th century Northern Italian villa, this former home of A. O. Smith Company president, Lloyd R. Smith, contains furnishings and works of art from the 15th – 18th centuries.

 

Symposium attendees will have the opportunity to take a short tour of the building upon arrival at 5:30 or wander the Renaissance Garden.

 

A cocktail-style dinner will be served beginning at 6 p.m. on the terrace (weather permitting) or in the historic dining hall.

Spouses/guests of symposium attendees are welcome to join the dinner by purchasing a dinner ticket via the registration page.

 

Round-trip transportation will be provided, departing from the Courtyard Milwaukee at 5:15 pm for all dinner guests.
