AtmoSci Attends 96th Annual AMS Meeting

The 96th Annual Meeting of the American Meteorological Society (AMS) was held this year in New Orleans, LA from January 9-14. Prof. Clark Evans; graduate students Caitlin Crossett, Caleb Grunzke, Alexandra Keclik, and Timm Uhlmann; and four undergraduate students were all in attendance. Prof. Evans, Caleb Grunzke, and Alexandra Keclik each presented research at the Special Symposium on Seamless Weather and Climate Prediction – Expectations and Limits of Multi-Scale Predictability.

In addition to presenting research, Prof. Evans, Caitlin Crossett, and Alexandra Keclik manned a booth at the Career Fair, held on January 9-10, where they met with many prospective graduate students. We also hosted the first annual UWM luncheon on Tuesday, January 12, with sixteen past, present, and prospective students and faculty in attendance. A great time was had by all.
