Smith receives SURF award
Melanie Kristen Smith, a student of Linguistics and German, has received a “Support for Undergraduate Research Fellows” (SURF) award for the academic year 2017-18 from UWM’s Office for Undergraduate Research.
The financial support provided by the SURF will allow Melanie to serve as Professor Garry Davis’ RA on a project titled “Using FLEX to Study Phonological Change in the Wermelskirchen Dialect”.
