Reserve Circulation Policy
Books and items on Reserve are loaned out for 2-hours, 2-days or 7-days. Items with a 2-hour loan period may not leave the library. Loan periods for Reserve materials are determined by the instructors and departments who place the items on physical Reserve. Only materials owned by instructors or the UWM Libraries may be placed on Reserve. UWM Libraries is unable to place items held by other libraries on Reserve. E-books and e-Journals can be linked directly in your D2L class page. Photocopied articles or books cannot be placed on Reserve.

Reserve Resources for Students
Looking for your textbooks? First try searching theUWM Reserve Catalog. Then try searching theUW-System catalogif the UWM Libraries don’t have your book(s). You also may want to ask your instructor if they have an extra copy of the textbook to place on Reserve. Interlibrary Loan will not obtain textbooks, and will cancel any requests.
2-hour Reserve items: $.50 per hour
2-day and 7-day items: $1 per day
