UWM’s Academic Adventurers: Studying Frog Calls and Colors in Central & North America

Dr. Höbel’s research deals with adaptations to communicate in complex and dynamic environments (such as a frog chorus), and with the effects of social interactions on communication behavior.

UWM’s Academic Adventurers is a continuing series of informal Friday afternoon programs held in the American Geographical Society Library, that give members of the UWM community the opportunity to hear of their colleagues’ adventures abroad and afield.
