The UWM Libraries welcomed six library students from National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) to Milwaukee for a summer internship program at the UWM Libraries, Milwaukee Public Library, and Marquette University Raynor Memorial Libraries.

The students – Chen-Chieh (Jesse) Huang, Ning-Chaio (Sylvia) Wang, Min-Hsuan (Shelly) Kuo, Chih-Hsuan (Amy) Hsu, Yi Ching (Becky) Lu, Yu-Wen (Donna) Chen – will also audit a class in UWM’s School of Information Studies (SOIS) during their stay in the city.

This is the ninth NTNU cohort to participate in this program.

UWM Libraries staff and representatives from SOIS and MPL attended a reception for the students in the Conference Center of the UWM Golda Meir Library on June 18.
