Glacial Geology of the Cedarburg Bog

October 14, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

Glaciers left a significant imprint on the surface of Southeastern Wisconsin that can be seen in the topography of the Cedarburg Bog both in the uplands and the islands in the bog. Join geologist Bill Kean on a trail walk through the field station property to experience life on the edge (of a glacier from 12000 years ago). Meet at the Field Station. Hike is offered by the Friends of the Cedarburg Bog. Hikes are free; $5 donation appreciated.
