MALLT student Catherine Kirchman (German) received a $500 scholarship from the American Association of Teachers of German (AATG) to attend the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) annual national conference in San Diego this month (November 21-22, 2015). She is also behind the visit of Eric Jarosinski in December  (“Nein. A Manifesto – An Evening with Eric Jarosinski”: she invited Jarosinski when she met him at the Pop-Kultur Festival this summer in Berlin, where she was interning in the library at WZB, the Berlin Social Science Center.
