Many of UWM’s language programs offer regular opportunities for students, staff, and members of the community to have informal conversations in languages other than English, outside of a classroom setting. All language levels are welcome!

This semester, there are regularly-scheduled informal conversations and language table opportunities in Anishinaabemowin, Chinese, French, German, Hebrew, Irish, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish. See “Events” on this page or the schedule below.

Many events are in the Language Resource Center’s Language Oasis, Curtin 187.
