Eric Jarosinski, better known as @NeinQuarterly to his almost 120,000 twitter followers. As NeinQuarterly, Jarosinski writes a German-English “compendium of utopian negation,” more specifically he offers his unique perspective as a self-proclaimed “failed intellectual” on any number of topics. In termsof his academic background, Jarosinski is native of Wisconsin and a 2005 PhD graduate of the UW-Madison’s German Department and former Assistant Professor of German at the University of Pennsylvania. His work has been published in The New Yorker, The Paris Review, Wall Street Journal, Slate, The Chronicle of Higher Education, as well as several prominent newspapers in the German-speaking world, including the prestigious Die Zeit where he has a regular column.
