If you would like to be considered for employment with University Housing, please complete the application form below. Your application will remain valid and on file until June 30. When your application expires, you will be notified at the email address you provide, so that you can submit a new application, should you wish.

NOTICE: Due to limited availability, Summer Employment Applications received on or after May 11, 2018, will not be eligible for free summer housing provided by the Department. Summer employees are still eligible for a temporary $1.00/raise, to help offset the costs of summer housing options.

Minimum Qualifications for All University Housing Student Employment Positions:

  • Enrolled in at least a part-time course load (does not apply for positions in summer and winter break periods).
  • GPA of 2.5 in most recently completed term. (Summer-only positions require 2.0 GPA in most recent term).
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.5. (Summer-only positions requires a 2.0 cumulative GPA).
  • Satisfactory completion of University Criminal Background Check and University Housing Resident and Guest Behavior Check.

  • University Housing employees agree to work no more than a total of 25 hours per week. Employees exceeding the cumulative 25 hour per week maximum will be subject to employment discipline up to and including termination. Hours may be scheduled at less than 25 hours dependent upon unit needs and budgetary resources. Employees may work 40 hours per week during the 13‐week summer break with prior permission granted from a full‐time staff University Housing supervisor. On campus employment in addition to a University Housing position requires an employee to maintain a cumulative 25 hours that must be tracked by the employee.
