As of August, 2016, University Housing now offers Wireless Internet in all rooms/suites/apartments. UWM Residents still have the option to connect via a wired connection (one wired port is provided for each student).
Wireless internet is provided by University Housing’s approved vendor, Apogee.
YOUR INSTRUCTIONS TO SET UP WIFI AFTER YOU MOVE IN (DO NOT ATTEMPT PRIOR TO MOVE-IN)
1(a). If WiFi is available, choose the network named either “MyResNet” or “Apogee”.
1(b): If WiFi is not available, use a wired device (ethernet cord) to connect to the internet. (you may also complete this step from your building’s community computers)
2. Open a browser and go to MyResNet.com.
3. Start by choosing “Sign Up”.
4. Fill In your information, including your device(s) MAC Address.
5. Submit by clicking “Create Your Free Account”
6. Log-In, restart your wireless devices, and you should be connected.
If you want to connect additional devices, log-in at MyResNet.com and click “Add/Manage Devices”.

All University Housing residents have access to the computer labs and work stations in University Housing buildings, which are open 24 hours a day. Each computer work area also provides access to campus printing services (fees apply). Courtesy computers for short-term use are also available in the lobby of most University Housing buildings.
