Dr. David Pate Reflects on Black Lives Matter Movement

At a time when racial tensions seem to be at an all time high, David Pate, professor of Social Work and Honors College lecturer, decided to explore the topic with students in the Honors College. In an interview for the UWM Report, Dr. Pate dives into the issue and the importance of open dialogue.

Honors College graduate, Shelbey Puppe said, “I’m a better social worker and person because of Dr. Pate’s classes. His research is incredible, his drive for creating change is infectious.”

Associate Director, Robin Ruback adds, “We are very fortunate to have the Honors College be in David Pate’s circle of influence…very fortunate indeed!”
