Abstract

Presentation will cover why AHW Endowment is funding Community/Academic partnership to work on PSE; Give examples of projects that have been funded and some with support from UW-M; Key components to consider when working on systems level change and community partners; and application development support from AHW.

About the Speaker

Maureen Busalacchi is the program Officer for the Policy System and Environment (PSE) Responsive Component of the Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment. Since 2004, AHW has invested nearly $200 million in more than 360 research, education and community health initiatives. Prior to Joining the Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin Endowment at MCW, Maureen Busalacchi served as Executive Director of Health First Wisconsin. She served as an advisor to organizations including the Healthy Wisconsin Leadership Institute and Wisconsin Initiative to Promote Healthy Lifestyles (WIPHL), and as a mentor for the Wisconsin Women’s Policy Institute.
