During Spring 2018, the following events will occur:
February 28: Carceral Precarity: Gender, Race, and Post-Incarceration Geographies in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Presented by Anne Bonds from UWM’s Department of Geography
March 14: Sexuality, Love, and the Law of Polygamy: Feminists Rethink Frenchness in 19th Century Algeria, Turkey, ‘the Kingdom of the Mormons,’ and France. Presented by Carolyn Eichner from UWM’s History Department and Women’s and Gender Studies Program
April 18: ‘What men can do, women cannot’: Significance of Gender, Race, and Place for West African Women in Catalonia. Presented by Ermitte Saint Jacques from UWM’s Department of Africology
