The Professional and Technical Communications (PTC) Track G program does more than just provide students with a college degree: we prepare students to be lifelong learners who can apply what they learn in classes directly to their intended careers.
An emphasis in PTC will help you write in a wide variety of public and professional contexts. PTC students also learn rhetorical theories and strategies to persuade audiences and argue effectively in writing.
The program encourages students to be creative, imaginative, and expressive writers, editors, and designers who are able to work with a wide range of documents in a variety of work places. As Track G students, you will benefit from:
- High quality, hands-on learning experience with an equal balance of theory and project work.
- Enthusiastic, caring, and hard-working faculty who are internationally recognized leaders in the field with broad workplace and academic experience, outstanding teaching and publishing credentials.
