Laura Tohe is a scholar and poet. She is the current Navajo Nation Poet Laureate and a professor of English at Arizona State University. She has published numerous poems, stories, essays, and interviews, including the 2001 essay, “There Is No Word for Feminism in My Language.” Her book publications include, Code Talker Stories (2012), Tseyi, Deep in the Rock (2005)and a co-edited collection with Heid Erdrich, Sister Nations: Native American Women Writers on Community (2002).
