Through Eat Local::Read Local, UWM bridges the gap between local restaurants and local writers in order to connect with more of the community through poetry. They distribute printed poems to Milwaukee and Madison area restaurants who then pass them out to diners throughout April, the National Poetry Month.

In the honor of National Poetry Month, Eat Local::Read Local hosts its second reading on Monday, April 20, at 7 p.m., at Craftsman Table & Tap (6712 Frank Lloyd Wright Ave, Middleton, WI). Bartenders are available to take dinner, snack, and drink orders throughout the entirety of the event.
