Landbody: Indigeneity’s Radical Commitments

The Center for 21st Century Studies will host their annual conference May 5-7th in Curtin Hall 175. The conference considers the implications of Native ontologies and epistemologies, emphasizing the animate, living nature of place and the conceptual primacy of connection and locale.

Plenary speakers include Jennifer Nez Denetdale, Jolene Rickard, Audra Simpson, Kim TallBear, and Gerald Vizenor. The conference also features a community art installation, Indian Community School eagle drummers and canary singers, poetry readings, and a film screening.
