Lace up your running shoes! We have a Panther Prowl “largest team” title to defend!
If you missed online participation, it’s not too late to race! Onsite registration will be from 8:30 – 9:45 am on race day beneath the Golda Meir Library overhang.
You don’t have to be an engineer to run or walk on our team! Invite your friends, family, colleagues and neighbors–everyone is welcome to be a part of our Milwaukee Engineer team.
Before the race (beginning at 8:30 am), there will be an Engineering Energy Blast, followed by a a group photo and rallying cry by the Dean at 9:15 am. This will all take place on the front lawn of Chapman Hall.
After the event concludes, come join us for the Open House at the EMS Building from 11 am to 1 pm!
Engineers will rock the open house with:
- Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream Making! This is NOT for the faint of heart! Can you get a sample? Absolutely! We’ll be making it every 15-20 minutes while supplies last. Watch for the whoosh!
- Computer Board Game: Digi-Comp II: A mechanical computer that works just like the central part of real computer processors, but is powered by marbles!
- Help Make a Solar-Powered Lamp: You make ’em and we’ll send ’em to people living with no electrical grid service in Guatemala. Have some fun AND help someone out in a big way.
- College of Engineering & Applied Science Alumni Chapter: Say hi and grab some great swag!
