The FIRST Tech Challenge is a global robotics competition for high-school students. Teams of up to 10 students work alongside college and professional mentors to apply real-world math and science concepts and build a remote-controlled robot to solve an annual game challenge. The exciting, sport-type tournaments are helping to create the next generation of technology leaders. UWM is host and sponsor of the Wisconsin FIRST Tech Challenge Championship, held each year in February. It’s a great way to involve students, businesses and the entire community!
