George Hanson Receives NSF Grant

Congratulations to George Hanson, Professor and Department Chair, Electrical Engineering, who received a National Science Foundation grant in collaboration with Michael Weinert, UWM Distinguished Professor, Physics, and two faculty members at West Virginia University. UWM’s portion of this four-year grant is $716,679.

The project title is: “EFRI NewLAW: Magnetic Field Free Magneto-optics and Chiral Plasmonics with Dirac Materials” and it is funded by the NSF’s Division of Emerging Frontiers & Multidisciplinary Activities.
