Electric Machines Laboratory

This laboratory is used for Electromechanical Energy Conversion (EE362) and Analysis of Electric Machines and Motor Drives (EE575).

Equipment: Sub fractional horse power dynamometer sets, small motors, and small dc motor drives.

Electronics Laboratory

This laboratory is used for Electrical Circuits II (EE305), Introduction to Electrical Engineering (EE306), Electronics I (EE330).

Equipment: 100-MHz Agilent 54622 oscilloscopes, 15-MHz Agilent 33120A function generators, Agilent 34401A 6-1/2 digit multi-meters, Elenco triple power supplies, 1 LCR/ESR meter, 5 Dell Pentium-4 PCs.

Joseph McPherson’s Laboratory

This laboratory is used for Electronics II (EE335), Capstone Design Project (EE595) and Digital Logic Laboratory (EE457).

Equipment: 300-MHz Agilent 6032A mixed mode analog/digital oscilloscopes, Agilent 33220A 20-MHz function/arbitrary waveform generators, Agilent 34410A 6-1/2 digit multi-meters, Elenco triple power supplies, Elenco single power supplies, 1 RF signal generator, 1 LCR/ESR meter, 10 networked Dell Pentium-4 PCs.

Microprocessors/CAD Laborator

This laboratory is used for Introduction to Microprocessors (EE367).

Equipment: 8 486-PC’s, 68HC11 micro controller trainers, Agilent 34410A 6-1/2 digit multi-meters, 5V power supplies and 3 Agilent 54641 oscilloscopes.

Optics Laboratory

This laboratory is for teaching Broadband Optical Networks (EE465) and Optical Communication (EE565).

Equipment: Optical table, CCD camera, lasers, beam profiler, wavelength meter, fiber optics components, PC with data acquisition board.

Wireless Information Transmission Electronics Laboratory (WITEL)
