Judith Winn is coordinator of the UWM/MPS Internship Program for Preparing Special Education Teachers and she coordinates the teaching experiences for the special education primary/middle certification program. She has served as a School of Education faculty liaison to a K-8 school in Milwaukee and was involved in a collaborative project at the school in which teachers worked to integrate technology into their literacy instruction.

Winn has been active at the national level in the Teacher Education Division (TED) of the Council for Exceptional Children. Her interests are reading, learning disabilities, and teacher education. She teaches courses in literacy, learning disabilities, and assessment. Winn received her M.S. from George Peabody College for Teachers and her Ph.D. from Michigan State University.
