This TA training is required for all new TAs and for any continuing TAs who are teaching their own class for the first time. We strongly encourage all graduate TAs to attend.  Note that this session is in addition to the campus-wide new graduate student orientation and graduate teaching assistant orientations (see https://uwm.edu/graduateschool/ for details).  Our economics TA training is specific to those teaching in economics and you’ll hear from both economics faculty and veteran graduate students who will share some of their tips for success in the classroom.
