“My experience at the UWM doctoral program is all positive. The program prepared me well to work in academia. During my doctoral years, the department gave me a chance to teach a variety of classes as a graduate teaching assistant, which helps my current job in a great deal. I was able to teach lower to upper division courses both face-to-face and online class formats. In addition, the experience working with the faculty members and the fellow graduate students to conduct research during my doctoral years at the UWM built my confidence as a researcher.”
