Focus of Graduate Studies

My area of research includes small group and intercultural communication. Specifically, I have studied affinity group formation and satisfaction, conflict and team satisfaction among college athletes, conflict and role negotiation in group assignments and understudied populations including Southside Chicago neighborhoods, LGBTQ community, and racial and nonracial identity groups.

Teaching Interests and Experience:

I have taught undergraduate classes in online, face-to-face and hybrid settings including Business and Professional Communication, Business and Professional Writing, Public Speaking, Interpersonal Communication and currently Intercultural Communication.
