“I feel so fortunate to have been a part of the Communications program at UW-Milwaukee. The classes and the professors really helped shape me into the person I am today. Ultimately, it gave me the tools I needed to obtain a successful career in Human Resources. I had no idea when I started school what I wanted to do, but I knew I wanted to work with and help people. Taking the classes in the Communications program really provided insight on relationships, diversity, different cultures, and overall a firm grasp on interpersonal communications The Communications major is dynamic and can be used in a wide variety of careers. Personally, I’ve found that some of the best HR professionals began their careers by getting their degree in Communications.
