Collaborative Piano

Our collaborative program with an emphasis on vocal arts is one of few such undergraduate programs offered nationwide. It offers training for pianists anticipating careers in vocal accompanying, as well as coaching art song, opera and musical theatre. Students receive weekly lessons in collaborative piano, as well as solo piano and piano technique. They also participate in rehearsals and performances for the UWM Opera Theatre, Milwaukee Opera Theatre and UWM choirs.
