Artists Now! Guest Lecture Series: Susie Ganch

Susie Ganch, a UW-Madison MFA alum, is Associate Professor and Head of the Metals Program for the Department of Craft and Material Studies at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and is the Director of Radical Jewelry Makeover, an international jewelry mining and recycling project that continues to travel across the country and abroad.
Ganch’s most recent solo exhibitions include TIED at Richmond Visual Arts Center, Richmond, VA and Land and Sea at Sienna Patti Contemporary. Her work has been in museum exhibitions around the world including the Design Museum, London, the National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne, Australia, and the Ueno Royal Museum, Tokyo, Japan.
The Department of Art & Design proudly presents the 11th season of Artists Now!, a Wednesday evening lecture series designed for a broad audience with an interest in contemporary visual art. It presents a diverse group of artists working across traditional, hybrid and emergent disciplines. Join these nationally and inter- nationally recognized practitioners as they explore and expand the boundaries of creative visual practice today.
All lectures take place on Wednesdays at 7:30 pm in the Arts Center Lecture Hall on the UWM campus. FREE and open to the public!
