Experimental Tuesdays at the Union Cinema presents…
From the Archives:
A Differing Language
Tonight’s program will showcase a ranging array of 16mm work made by women of color that seeks to redefine their experience in an unconventional film language.
These films — all 16mm prints — were selected from the Cinema Arts Archive, of the UWM Department of Film, Video, Animation, and New Genres, by curator Michelle Trujillo, a MFA Candidate in the Department.

The From The Archives series invites Graduate Students from the UWM Department of Film, Video, Animation, and New Genres to collaborate with the Department’s Archive to curate an evening for Experimental Tuesdays.
Much thanks to the Department’s Archive Director Kati Katchever for her help in unvaulting the prints and readying them for screening.
Experimental Tuesdays at the Union Cinema is a free series unspooling on most Tuesdays throughout the semester that shares contemporary and canonical experimental media. Presented by the UWM Union Cinema and the UWM Department of Film, Video, Animation, and New Genres.
