Alfred von Wierusz-Kowalski: Political Struggle and Metaphor opened in the UWM Art History Gallery on Monday, March 23, 2015. Graduate student Marin Kniskern curated the exhibition and gave a talk during the opening reception.  Kniskern borrowed a painting from the Milwaukee County Parks, Recreation, and Culture Collection and used a recently conserved painting from the UWM Art Collection. Kniskern’s advisors were Associate Professor Richard Leson and Assistant Professor Kay Wells.
