Professor Leson gives a lecture in Denmark, hangs out with Saint Canute

In late June / early July, Associate Professor Richard Leson gave a paper on illuminated manuscripts of Guillaume de Tyr’s Histoire d’Outremer at the quadrennial meeting of the Society for the Study of theCrusades and the Latin East.

Odense is the third largest city in Denmark and the resting place of Saint Canute, the first Christian king of Denmark, who was martyred in 1086.
