Kenneth Bendiner Retires

In 1985, Kenneth Bendiner joined the UWM faculty as a tenured associate professor of Modern Painting and Sculpture, becoming a full Professor in 1993. He served as the chair, Undergraduate Advisor, Graduate Advisor, and Internship Coordinator. Kenneth Bendiner was known for his energetic lectures which enrolled high and attracted record numbers of over sixty auditors to his courses on Dada and Surrealism, Cubism, History of Modern Design, German Painting, English Art, Modern Sculpture, and History of Photography. He and his wife retired to Red Hook, New York to be closer to their children and grand children.
