On Tuesday, September 27, UWM Art Collection Director, Linda Brazeau, and UWM Art Collection Curator, Christa Story, gave a behind-the-scenes tour of the UWM Art History Gallery and the UWM Art Collection (UWMAC) vault to Friends of Art History (FOAH) members at the Art Connoisseur level. The members were welcomed by UWM Department of Art History Chair, Derek Counts who thanked them for their generous support. Brazeau provided information about the upcoming gallery renovation and the history of the UWMAC. Story discussed the print collection and explained her efforts to preserve the permanent collection. The Art Connoisseur level members also received their ‘swag bag’ including a UWMAC button, collectible art card, mug, and tote bag.
