On Friday April 15, 2016, Director of the UWMAC, Linda Brazeau and Christa Story, Curator of Collections, attended Curators Conversations organized by David Wells of Edgewood College and held for the first time at the Madison Public Library. The approximately 25 other attendees represented various Wisconsin arts organizations, galleries and museums, and also included independent curators.  The topics of discussion addressed in the round-table format included current and upcoming exhibitions, art projects, and issues concerning professional information exchange formats, exhibition themes and subjects, and their presentation. Lunch was followed by a visit to the Wisconsin Academy of Sciences, Arts & Letters, James Watrous Gallery in the Overture Center for the Arts to view exhibits of the work of Tom Berenz and Shane McAdams. Conversations were continued after the viewing.
