Conservation Workshop with Terri White

Milwaukee Art Museum (MAM) Object Conservator, Terri White, visited the Department of Art History today to perform conservation on four sculptures in the UWM Art Collection: a Jean Arp bronze sculpture, two Barbara Hepworth bronzes, and a Picasso ceramic. White’s workshop addressed conservation techniques, various polishes used for bronze sculptures, and a demonstration of a bronze polishing procedure. The conservation work by Terri White was made possible by generous donations to the Adopt Art conservation program.
