Art History Graduate Student Presentations V

Art History Graduate Students Cameron Quade, Youngchul Shin, and English Grad Student Paul Doro presented on three objects from the UWM Art Collection in Associate Professor Tanya Tiffany’s Proseminar course Tuesday, October 24th. This week the grad students examined Santos Zingale’s painting Lynch Law, Max Arthur Cohn’s screenprint Mexican Boy, and Josephus Farmer’s sculpture Dixieland I (Picking Cotton). Students were asked to conduct independent research on an object related to weekly course readings and present on their findings to the class. This data will be used by UWMAC staff to add to the object files and strengthen collection research. Stay tuned for more presentation information coming soon!
